COMPLEX MERGERS AND REMEDIES
22-26 March 2010
22-26 March 2010, Budapest, Hungary
The RCC organises its next workshop for competition authorities between 22-26 March 2010 in Budapest.
The programme will cover all relevant issues related to merger control enforcement, including such essential steps like defining the relevant market, analysing the market structure, assessing any harm to competition and imposing remedies. It will deal specifically with the added difficulties of managing complex merger cases, which includes analysing challenging analytical issues, complex contractual arrangements, sophisticated technologies and complex regulatory regimes and managing internal organizational difficulties. As most of these mergers lead to some form of remedies, we will also discuss the imposition or negotiation of remedies in these types of cases. The topics will be addressed and discussed in lectures by competition experts from OECD countries and in case studies presented by the participants.
Deadline for the registration: 29 January 2010
Deadline for the case study: 22 February 2010
